The first river-sea expedition of a Romanian crew around Europe left on Saturday from Timișoara. 5 rivers, 4 seas, an ocean and 5 straits will be crossed by boat by the adventurers from Timisoara, ambassadors of the European cultural capital now, those who will take the spirit of the city with them to 20 other cities in Europe. In the first stage of the journey, the Circumeuropa crew goes on the route Timisoara – Elefsina.
There will be stops in over 20 former and current European cultural capitals to promote the title that Timișoara holds.
